I wish I found my sunshine
He's hiding behind the gray sky
As if a grumpy child he hides
At a place so distant so far by
Though gloom pervades, all in its might
A jot of hope that resides in my heart
Sparkles away independently in defense
Like a challenge from a firefly
To the devil of the dark
Prayers and patience will never succumb
They will keep the candle bright
All molten wax may surrender supine
But optimism will always hold me high
I ll dream of the sunny days
See your reflection in the ocean wide
I ll transcend to a higher high
And sometimes when I hit the lows
I ll call ur name and shed a tear
Until you come out of your hideaway
I ll imagine your gleaming smile
In the reflections of my mind
