Gazing at the shooting star she made a wish,
With those wistful eyes gleaming in the moonless night;
A seed was sown, she watered it ,
And nurtured it with cathexis;
The sapling flourished into a tree;
It basked in the crowning glory bestowed by the sun,
It laughed, rustling its leaves with the playful mischief of the wind,
And danced, when the Rain gods showered their blessings;
The metamorphosis was blissful as blissful could be.
Vicissitutudes forayed, atrophy struck in,
The sun hid, almost maliciously, behind the clouds ,
The wind didn't sooth its soars,
The rains didn't quench its thirst;
Even the silver- lining couldnt bring back hope.
Defenseless,the feeble tree decided to breathe the last sigh,
As it closed its eyes, an eternal image transcended,
Kindling a new spirit,whispering the heavenly secret;
The essence of life is to find hope within!
It was none other than the angel, who had given it life;
"Not so easily, I will give a tough fight."
